International Schools' Award

florenceAs part of our development plan across the federation this year we are attempting to gain recognition as an International School.

Lincolnshire is often criticised by its many of its detractors as being monocultural, isolated and unwelcoming. As a Federation we aim to prove them wrong.

Clearly the Centre des Etoiles is one method we use to increase opportunities for our students to gain a greater insight into the lives of others; but our own students are a wonderful resource in themselves. At The Priory last year we had a Country of the Week presentation that was written each week by a student from that particular country.

There were not enough weeks to accommodate all of the students who wanted to contribute.

There is at The Priory a cultural diversity that is not seen in many other schools in Lincolnshire, and we hope that this will be the springboard for a successful International School Status bid. For a tabular breakdown of the ethnic origins of the students please refer to The Priory’s International Page on its website.
