Netball Year 10

Year 10’s played their first netball match of the season last night against Christ Hospital School. They kicked off to a good start winning the first centre pass. From then onwards the girls played great netball with a strong lead throughout the first quarter with shots flying in. In the second quarter the girls only managed to let in one goal in and continued to get interceptions and shots in smashing the second quarter winning by 16 goals to only 1.

As there was a strong lead, the umpires decided to leave it there due to the 15 goal, goal difference and the rules of the league. For the 2 remaining quarters the Lincoln Christ Hospital girls and The Priory girls joined together and mixed teams for fun and showed true sportsmanship, echoing the sporting code, enjoying the final 2 quarters of the match!!

The girls gelled brilliantly for the first game of the season. Many more to come in the future!

Well done!
