Christmas Fayre

On Wednesday 17th December, sixth formers kicked off the Christmas festivities in the old hall with around 19 stalls. The stalls ranged from selling Christmas decorations to crisps and coke, selfies with Santa were taken and there was a balloon tombola. The year 13s have worked hard to make these games, including a money tree, pin the nose on Olaf, paper toss, blindfolded football games, baby pictures of teachers, some card games and more. The fayre was open to all year groups at lunchtime then while everyone was in PDP period 4, year 7’s and 8’s were given half an hour each to join in. The sixth formers hope to raise around £400 for their ball at the end of the year, this money will hopefully come from the fayre today but there will also be a variety of other activities taking place throughout the year, such as the sale of candy canes at the moment.
