Jordan's memorable day at Silverstone with Coulthard

Year 12 student Jordan Croft enjoyed a once-in-a-lifetime experience when he visited Silverstone ahead of the British Grand Prix and dined in private with former racing driver David Coulthard.

Jordan was one of five teenagers who have all won places on this year's Arkwright Scholarships scheme, which is designed to foster young engineeers. They were all chosen to attend the event due to their passion for engineering within Formula 1.

Their day started with an exclusive tour of the Infiniti Red Bull factory in Milton Keynes and was followed by lunch at the same venue. Then they were driven to the Silverstone circuit where they saw inside the team's garage, looked around the paddock area and watched a practice session in style.

Jordan and the other four students then sat down to a private dinner with David Coulthard, now a TV commentator, in the luxury of Infiniti Red Bull Racing’s exclusive motor home. They were able to enjoy the finest food and drink while quizzing Coulthard on all things F1.
