Lincoln Inspired to host public event at The Priory

Publishing director Linda Bennett - who writes crime fiction under the pseudonym Christina James - will be giving a public talk entitled 'Get Published' at The Priory Academy LSST.

Linda, a director of Salt Publishing, will give expert advice to aspiring authors at the special public event, which is being hosted by The Priory on Wednesday 7th May as part of the Lincoln Inspired Festival 2014.

She will guide writers through the dilemma of going it alone with self-publishing; the minefield of dealing with publishers and agents; and methods you could use to sharpen your writing skills.

Tickets, which cost £5, can be purchased at Lincoln Drill Hall, or on the door of The Priory's Newton Centre where the event takes place from 4pm-5pm. Parking will be available at the Academy's main entrance on Cross O' Cliff Hill.

Linda's books, including the Lincolnshire-set detective stories In the Family and Almost Love, will also be available for sale and signing.
