4x4 technology team wins place in national final

A Priory team competing in a regional 4x4 technology challenge has won through to the national final of the event.

The team, called 4x5, claimed the regional title of the 4x4 In Schools Technology Challenge sponsored by Land Rover.

Jacob Houghton, Alex Day, Joe Oliver, Joseph Burrows and Dan Weston sealed automatic entry into the national final to be held at the Land Rover Design Centre near Warwick on 27th March.

The boys were extremely proficient in all their tasks and even succeeded in the drive over the notorious rope bridge, although trailer reversing still requires some practice before the big day.
