Creative writers find a national audience

Creative Writing students in The Priory Sixth Form are celebrating their first publishing success.

Mrs Oliver, who is teaching the new A-Level course, submitted a sample of writing from all students to the NAWE magazine (National Association for Writers in Education).

All the students' work has now been published in the latest edition of the magazine. All 14 articles - comprising both poetry and prose - have also been uploaded to the NAWE website and can be viewed by clicking on this link.

The NAWE editor has also asked Mrs Oliver to write an article for a subsequent edition of the magazine about teaching the A-Level course.
